I'm not dead yet

Not quite. I'm like nigh invulnerable.

I have been watching too much Whose Line is it Anyway on Youtube. If it was possible to get too much. Then again, watching as I was eating does not help, as I choked half of the time.

As I am so extremely bored I have, after being inspired by surfing the web, decided to make up a planet and it's ntire ecology for no discernable reason whatsoever.

Inspirations:

Also, on Youtube there's a mockumentary based on the first link that was on Disovery Channel. Just search up 'alien planet discovery channel' and you should get it. It's 94 mins long, so not that bad.

First link was all based on a really good book, with loads more of the wacky creatures, which happens to be really hard to find, dammit. If anyone happens to find or have a copy, I'll be happy to try and get it off you. :P It's Expedition by Wayne Barlowe.

The second link is all designed by a guy probably with a lot of problems.

Goddamn Tyranids

I have finally decided to check up on some more Warhammer 40k stuff, and so started drawing this baby:

Pretty cool.

Anyway today I went to get my books, meeting Jia Mae and Taras on the way. I still owe her chocolate. D: My precious chocolate...
Also the books were very expensive, and were legion. But luckily I was not Taras, who had to get loads of stuff for his DT Graphics.

Boring, going to read. Toodle-oo.

Icy Wizrobe

Yeah, I'm bored. Yet again. So I started playing Maple with Ming Mun, Kenny, Don and Ling. Cause not much else to do.

Also been watching a walkthrough to what I guess is the hardest game ever, La Mulana. It's where I got all the random statuses from.

Also, apparently my brother knows Alisia's (sp?) brother.

Well I'm bored. Again.

Something was bound to go right sometime today
All these broken pieces fit together to make a perfect picture of us
It got cold and then dark so suddenly and rained
It rained so hard the two of us were the only thing
That we could see for miles and miles

Ai don't know what you're talking about, but Ai'm sure you can fix it.

Ai don't know why Ai'm speaking like Mrs. Whitlow. May be because Ai've been reading The Last Continent for a while in Indonesia. Jogja to be exact, however that was only the last few days. Had a great time in Surabaya, had a chilly time near Mt Bromo, had an insane and firey time camping and had a tiring time in the car. Oh, and had some disappointing times in Batu. Lousy spa pools...

Sorry Ai couldn't get you anything Snarly. Nothing worth buying there except for fruits and such. No humourous t-shirts for me either, all they sell is lousy batik. If you wanted me to get some, Ai have no idea what shirt size you are, so yeah. Ai have an excuse.

Have a great time in Bali. :D

Also, Adrienne, Ai'll be around the Gardens attempting to piss you off if Ai find you. (:

A Fine Day In China

May as well just talk about the first day for now. Well, firstly, had to wake up at 2:00 am, which is too damn early. Took bout an hour or so to get ready, and another to get to the LCCT, which left me 45 minutes to do nothing. Mostly texted Adri and wandered about, till I spotted Charlie and Stuart in McD, then went back to doing nothing.
Jie arrived a while later, and then Ling, then it was basically just a whole flurry of the rest.
Check-in and boarding is all boring stuff, so yeah. On the plane, it was a 4 hour trip, so it was mostly sleeping and eating, seeing as the Sudoku had already been solved. Nasi lemak was alright, but the sambal sucked.
Getting there, we met Susaaaaaaan, Alton and the rest of the Dragonfly crew. Then we found out that we were hiking almost immediately after going to the hotel. D: Que muddy roads and unpacked bags.

After getting to Moon Hill, fun little game of tossing the ball along with naming dudes. Then the climb. Got tuckered out after bout 20 mins. Damn. But got there sooner or later. Then we found out that we had further to climb. Compared to what just happened, this was hard. OBS was a piece of cake compared to this. Tons of mud, slippery rocks, all to get to the top of a mountain where you can hear echoes.
Coming down was worse. Far more slippery, and it started to rain. Caught Jie a couple of times, or at least I did.

But hey, it was all fun. Got back to the hotel, showered, changed, had the girls comment on my (and the others') hygiene. Then started planning for the next day with the kids. Appears that we changed group composition, so I joined up with Martyn, Kenny, Stuart and Josh, kicking out Swai Ge in the process. After a ton of planning, we went on to the bizzare and embarrasing demo of what we'll be doing tomorrow. After that humiliating episode, we went to bed.

Yes Adri and Jie, I did brush my teeth.

Wercome to China

Am going to China tomorrow, along with Adri and Ling and Kenny and such. Just hope there's some footballs there.

Yesterday's party was fun. Transformers 2 was chock full of action, even though lacking a bit in plot. Had nice Italian dinner, along with the cake, present giving and Youtube-watching before hand, made it quite a nice day.

Shut up, Dustin.

Also, happy birthday Sonali. :D

Aww

Pissing off Adrienne has never been more fun!

Adrienne/Sam all the way.

Also let's not forget Dustin/Jojo. Guessing it'll be steamier in 9W's class from now on. ;)

One dollar sir?

I'm almost broke. D:

On the good side, I can get bout RM 190 by the start of July.
Also, I got Snarly's birthday present. :D

A Monster of A Time

Now that the bad puns are over...

I just got back from seeing Monsters vs Aliens. Quite funny, but slightly predictable.

B.O.B. is awesome though. Funniest lines ever.

Little things falling down

We come from the sea
Brought up by the sun
Sent forth by the clouds
And return to the ground

We are little soldiers
Wearing down rocks
Bringing life to where we go
And sometimes sorrow as well

We herald the newborn year
Bring the flowers back in tears
And the sky shall cry its children
From up above

Little soldiers
Sent from the heavens
Some say an omen
Some say a blessing
We simply say nothing

For we are the rain

Star Trek

Damn. Damn. Damn.

Damn that was a good movie.

Well had a nice day out with Adrienne and Sonali. Went to MPH, wandered, had KFC, bought tickets to Star Trek at GSC Premiere, waited at Borders reading Sandman, then saw the movie.

Epic. And I've never even seen any of the original Trekkie stuff.

Tis all I shall say.

My usual attempt at procrastination

Title says all.

Week has been very dull. Malay speaking test coming up at the end of the week.

Have history and english homework to do, will do so after brother stops hogging the computer.

Bah humbug, life is boring.

Current album I'm listening to: The Hazards of Love - The Decemberists. Basically one hour-long song split into 17 songs for sanity's sake.

Argh, seem to have lost my long blog post edge.

A bit of Icelandic

Sigur Ros is the shizz. Icelandic rock is awesome. Iceland in general is awesome. That is all.

In other unrelated news, my iPod has hit 500+ songs. Rejoice, for it is filled with good music.

Not going to bother mentioning what was meant to happen on Friday. We can do that later.

Brosandi

It's a green day...

Well today was Green Day. Had quite a bit of fun, and brought a sleeping blindfold thingy.

A few girls in my class got in trouble lol. Apparently short shorts and sleeveless tops were not in order, but nothing really happened. xD

Sonali took tons (9) of pics. I was in three of them, which provided the perfect oppoturnity to get another Facebook picture. :D

Adri's glasses broke though. Sucks for her.

Current book: The Fifth Elephant - Terry Pratchett: Only just started, but not bad so far.

Hey there Delilah
What's it like in New York City?
I'm a thousand miles away
But girl, tonight you look so pretty
Yes you do
Times Square can't shine as bright as you
I swear it's true

Thursday, April 16, 2009

Oh hot damn.

I just found out Adri and Sonali plan to have LotR night on Labour Day, maybe at my place.

And that involves me getting materials.

Damn.

Not a long blog post for now, just a small update.

Around the house by the sea
The scent of roses and raspberry leaves
And there is smoke in my clothes
Too much time with just smoke in my nose
And I've been making the meaning they lack
And I've been burning that book they come back too

Discworld

I went on a Discworld shopping spree yesterday. Got:

Jingo
Soul Music
The Last Continent
Wyrd Sisters
Going Postal

Will read them in that order. Already finished Jingo and halfway through Soul Music.

I am really bored. I'm allowed to read fast.

Currently reading: Soul Music by Terry Pratchett, as said before.

Boy with a coin he found in the weeds
with bullets and pages of trade magazines
close to a car that flipped on the turn
when God left the ground to circle the world

More tunes

I am really bored over this holiday, so I just got loads of tunes.

Such as:
Personal Jesus - Depeche Mode
Boy with a Coin - Iron & Wine
Riot - Three Days Grace
Fix You - Coldplay
Fear of Corners - Dntel
Colors - Amos Lee (thanks Adrienne)

And so on and so on.

Reach out, touch faith!

Battling

I found an amazing band called Battles. GO DOWNLOAD NOW

I am also addicted to the song Bliss by Muse.

Last Sunday I headed over to Adri's house to do some Rock Band. We also somehow managed to squeeze in a movie and part of a musical in.

Yesterday had fun with a movie marathon at Sonali's. I get to be the march hare and the King of Hearts. :)

More songs that I got recently:
Take Me Out - Franz Ferdinand
Song 2 - Blur
Time Is Running Out - Muse
Lowell, MA - Death Cab for Cutie

Currently reading:
Nothing. Too lazy to.

I say don't you know
You say you don't go
I say... take me out!
I say you don't show
Don't move, time is slow
I say... take me out!

Plans - A prayer to Father Time

I just realised that we are beings made of infinately small particles that make up an infinately large universe.

God/s/Buddha that's depressing.

I'm chatting with Helen quite a bit on the subject of religion, or more specifically, just what the heck Catholics do and the contents of the Bible.

I am also asking whoever I can if it's possible to make a whip out of chains and daggers. Apparently it is.

You may tire of me as our December sun is setting because I'm not who I used to be
No longer easy on the eyes but these wrinkles masterfully disguise
The youthful boy below who turned your way and saw
Something he was not looking for: both a beginning and an end
But now he lives inside someone he does not recognize
When he catches his reflection on accident

Apparently Sonali's gotten in touch with her inner Indian. And Ling has... is in touch with her... *coughshortcough* Taiwanese self.

Death Cab is still awesome.

Currently planning out where to get supplies to make that Witch King of Angmar costume. Of course with Sonali and Adri's help.

Currently reading: Small Gods - Terry Pratchett
I'm in a Discworld mood. Don't bother helping.

On the back of a motor bike
With your arms outstretched trying to take flight
Leaving everything behind
But even at our swiftest speed we couldn't break from the concrete
In the city where we still reside.
And I have learned that even landlocked lovers yearn for the sea like navy men
Cause now we say goodnight from our own separate sides
Like brothers on a hotel bed
Like brothers on a hotel bed
Like brothers on a hotel bed
Like brothers on a hotel bed

It's been a while.

Yeah, I haven't updated in a while. I procrastinated on my procrastination tool.

So, homework is piling up, tests are getting closer and I didn't get into Perhentian. However, Janda Baik is always a good option. Just don't come and take up all our spaces.

I seem to be staying up later and later. Bags under my eyes. :(

Eating a whole packet of MSG makes me hyper. Then tired. Example in drama.

Continuing in from drama, we found a nice jacket and hat. But then we put it back into the props room.

I like Death Cab for Cutie, as Sonali can tell you. Well, anything mellow is always good for me. And I Will Possess Your Heart has an amazing bassline.

Currently reading: Men at Arms by Terry Pratchett, and Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy by Douglas Adams - I just started. Too early to have an opinion.

You gotta spend some time, love.
You gotta spend some time with me,
and I know that you'll find love,
I will possess your heart.

My axe is on fire

Swimming gala. Urgh. Did 25m freestyle and freestyle relay. 25m wasn't so bad, got 5th place, but didn't get through to finals. Jeremy did though. Oddly enough, Sean Lee didn't get though, but that was cause his goggles broke. And for the relay, let's just say we lost spectacularly.

LF is in NZ now. I see she's having fun in Year 10. Lucky. :P

Pop shock lock.

Last week saw me living for nothing but deadlines,
With my dead beat sky but, this town doesn't look the same tonight
These dreams started singing to me out of nowhere
And in all my life I don't know that I've ever felt so alive, alive

Gaaaaaaah

Swimming is tiring. Also walking around and not sitting. Owowowowowowowow

WHY DIDNT YOU GODS CHANGE ME INTO AN OTTER?! D:<

Well at least I did something.

Here we are now with the falling sky and the rain,
We're awakening
Here we are now with the desperate youth in pain,
We're awakening
Maybe it's called ambition, but you've been talking in your sleep
About a dream, We're awakening

Response to Sonali as per usual.

Awww. You're head's all messed up. Don't worry, I can fix it. :)

Imagine a nice, quiet, calm forest, with little birdies and cute deer and all the cows in the world, and humans too, and everyone is peaceful and nice and go around saying 'Oh hello sir, may I get you a cup of water?' or 'Would you like me to groom your cat by licking it?'. Imagine your perfect world.

A falling star
Least I fall alone.
I can’t explain what you can’t explain.
You're finding things that you didn’t know
I look at you with such disdain

Then imagine it being torn down, razed to the ground, heads on spears, people beating the crap out of each other with their own organs, people eating cows (no offence), people eating deer, people eating endangered animals, people killing each other, and in the end the world is all ruled by one hell of a son of a bitch.

The walls start breathing
My mind's unweaving
Maybe it’s best you leave me alone.
A weight is lifted
On this evening
I give the final blow.

Now think how lucky you are that the world isn't that bad.

Yeah, I know it works.

Currently reading: Eulalia! - Brian Jacques. I haven't read a Redwall book in a loooong time, but I'm not stopping any time.

When darkness turns to light
It ends tonight,
It ends tonight.
Just a little insight won't make this right
It’s too late to fight
It ends tonight,
It ends tonight.

Cya Loofy. :(

Have fun in the land of sheep.

Voroxvoroxvorox...

Whee Vorox.

My brothers got more Bionicle toys today. And I really like the name of one of them. Guess which one.

Anyway, today was fun. LF visited. But then she got kicked out. Then she came back. Lol.

Yesterday was fun as well. Astina's cousin is awesome, I finally know who Karmen is and Astina is yet again frustrated with movies. Oh joy.

Mr McConchie said my letter to Sam Llewellyn was too informal. Haha. Oh well.

Currently reading: Thud! - Terry Pratchett. A good crime/humour book.

I wanted to see something that's different, something you said would change in me.
Wanted to be, anything different, everything you would change in me.

Stormcrows

Well PTC was quite fun. Quite.

I managed to get 3 "not-enough-effort"s. New personal record I believe. However, I recieved outstanding reviews from Geo, all the Sciences and English. Hooray.

I have managed to do some cleaning up of my iPod. Got great bands such as Muse, Switchfoot, Dashboard Confessional, Hellogoodbye and many more. While I was there, I dumped some of my more wtf songs.

Am wondering how the hell to take a pic of self with camera. With no hands in the pic. Oh dear.

Currently reading: On Writing - Stephen King. Amazing dude, amazing autobiography. That is all.

Well you are the one, the one that lies close to me.
Whispers "Hello, I've missed you quite terribly."
I fell in love, in love with you suddenly.
Now there's no place else I could be but here in your arms.

Witch King of Angmar?

Me and Sonali are going to make a Witch King costume over the summer hols.

It'll take a long time, but it'll be fun. I hope.

And expensive. Very expensive. Not to mention where the hell I will get the paints...

Oh well. Anything for my costume. We'll make a Merry costume next year. I can hear Snarly cheering. :)

In other news, I now like The Script. Fav songs are The Man Who Can't Be Moved, Breakeven and Before The Worst. Awesome songs, which really help me out with my books as inspiration. And now, I will sign off with random song lyrics, and you can have fun guessing them! Hooray.

Also, no problem Sonali. I'm always there for a hug. :D

In addition, you all just lost the game.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Game_(mind_game)

And why why why can Adrienne drive? That's blasphemy. Impossible. But yet not improbable.

What am I supposed to do when the best part of me was always you?
And what am I supposed to say when I'm all choked up that you're ok?

Sunday, February 8, 2009

Now I get it.

So that's how you put a picture.

I should just say that I got the pic off DeviantArt, and that it got resized badly. :(

Friday, February 6, 2009

I Don't Cook.

It's why I have a maid. :P

Still, I see no point to cook until I go live by myself.

Also, I realise I have short blog posts. That's the point.

Tuesday, February 3, 2009

A Long Post

Just kidding.

I refuse to write long blog posts. I see no depth in them. Hahahaha.

Lol.

Friday, January 30, 2009

Unfortunately, I'm back. For you.

That's right, I'm back from Johor which I went to for Chinese New Year.

I was going to do my head in due to lack of tech.

Ah well. Let's roll.

Tuesday, January 20, 2009

Reply to Sonali.

Yes Sonali. It is of the uttermost importance to spread my name everywhere, so I'll already be rich and famous when I become rich and famous for a good reason.

But everyone knows simpleton works as well.

Monday, January 19, 2009

There is no title.

Well, I fell asleep in maths. It was that bad.

Although quadratics usually does that to me, along with worrying about homework and all that.

But you know what?

Best thing was that I got in no trouble. Woot.

Sunday, January 18, 2009

Partay

Well, my last skin didn't go so well so I just went classic.

And it's a partay today! :D

Saturday, January 17, 2009

Whee

I feel way better. My fever's gone, my sore eyes are gone, my headache's gone, my sore throat is almost gone, but now I'm breaking out in rashes and feel like I'm gonna puke.

Oh well.

Friday, January 16, 2009

Sick.

I can't go to school today. Had a fever of 39.5C. God that was horrible.

Thursday, January 15, 2009

The bane of homework.

I see dead ducks.

Maybe I shouldn't have eaten that balut.

Oh well. I have homework to do, stuff to rush on Flash and I have no idea what I'm doing.
Wish me luck.

Wednesday, January 14, 2009

Pain.

Headache. Can't talk much. Fever, stuff like that. I had to take some Panadol that tasted like crap. But now I'm better. Which sucks, because I have school.

However, Sonali, the fruit theory did work a bit. Pears are nice.

And so are duck eggs.
They helped a lot.

Time to smash my face into a pillow.
